A classic product for bulging are the so-called exhaust-system suspension. These have a head (a conical shape) at one end and a collar (ring shape) shortly behind. This geometry is used to hold a rubber element in position. This process replaces cost-intensive turned parts, as no swarf/scrap is produced. Generally, bulging geometries are suitable as stop points, pullout safety devices in plastic, etc. Bulged geometries of the most varied types and with the highest precision can be created. We produce a wide variety of head and collar shapes, such as flat, semicircular, cylindrical, conical or pear-shaped.
However, we are not only able to upsize your wire at certain points, we can also taper it. A reduction of up to 30% of the initial diameter is possible.
